Following an impressive second in challenging track conditions at Angel Stadium in Anaheim, Ken Roczen reflected on another terrific round, on a night where he took over at the top of the title standings. Words: Live Motocross Editor

“Tonight was mental. I’m honestly learning a lot about myself. A2 is always a weird one for me. 2017 just subconsciously sits there. Wasn’t really all that comfortable all day, but not terrible either. The heat race was not great for me, but I needed it to get me right for the main event. P2 for the night! I ended up turning it into a pretty bitchin’ night! Thank you everyone involved,” Roczen posted.

Riding with consistency, composure and trademark skill, the adaptable star yet again underlined his class and ability to navigate any surface due to his line selection, nous, racecraft and experience. Enjoying being in the battle, happy with his focus, content with the bike and stoked on his second podium of the season, all eyes now turn to the Triple Crown showpiece at Glendale next weekend, as the #94 is now the third points leader after three rounds, as he aims to keep up his momentum and maintain the red plate for as long as possible.
