450 Class Stats
• His Best Yet: Ken Roczen’s two overall wins, five moto wins and 143 total points have resulted in the best start of his career. He had two overall wins, three moto wins, and 141 total points in his championship-winning 2014 season.
• Keeping it Up Front: Roczen has led 73% of the total laps completed this season thanks to his class-leading starting average of 2.0, which has led to an average finish of 1.5.
• The Champ Sidelined: Ryan Dungey will miss multiple rounds of competition after suffering a cracked vertebrae in his neck in a crash at the previous round. It will be the first time he misses a 450 Class start in seven seasons.
• No Shortage of Speed: Eli Tomac has been the fastest qualifier at all three rounds this season. However, his average start of 11.7 is forcing him to pass more than eight riders a moto en route to a trio of overall podium finishes.
• Making the Passes Count: Tomac’s resiliency is unmatched in the 450 Class as he has improved his starting spot in each of the last three motos by more than 10 positions.
• Honda on the Rise: Trey Canard and Cole Seely are coming off their best outing of the season in which both riders led a lap and earned a moto-podium finish. The teammates each moved into the top five in the championship standings.
