Many riders will know this scenario… After a few laps on the track their hands start to burn, sometimes the skin starts blistering and when the blisters burst you’ll feel the pain. The reason: When driving, the impact is transferred to the gloves via the grips which then rub against the skin.
Now the renowned handlebar manufacturer Neken has developed the Smooth Feeling Handlebar – or SFH handlebars for short. The diameter of the handlebar ends was made narrower so that grips with thick padding can be used. They were specially designed by Neken to maintain the same grip diameter despite the thick padding. But the riding comfort is amazing: The padding absorbs the shocks which prevents the gloves from rubbing on the palm. Irritations are minimized. The result is unbelievable!
