THE PUTOLINE EUROTEK EXTREME RAVINES – HELMSLEY 24th APRIL

   Round 3 ACU British Extreme Enduro ChampionshipWork is well underway on the extreme ravines course,   the course will be around 26 km, we are aiming for around 2 hours riding time for the winners of the classes with a 4 hour time limit for riders to finish using different routes for the various classes the riders will visit check point to ensure passage through the signature sections and with a final big climb to the finish which will be the main spectator area things….

Holcombe wins ACU GBXC British Sprint Championship Opener

Rogers Hill Raceway, Dorset – Rounds 1 & 2. March 19-20th When the top two Championship class riders are divided by just hundredths of a second on Special Tests, you know that this event defined the word competition. Beta Factory rider Steve Holcombe and Colwyn Bay KTM’s Brad Freeman were virtually inseparable over two days of breath-taking Sprint racing at the beginning of the 2016 Sprint season. NG Road Racing… Brands Hatch Race Report

Brands Hatch in March is always a tricky proposition, tarmac that has had little use and that is notoriously lacking in grip when the temperatures are low. So with the thermometers struggling to get above 5 degrees correct tyre choices were vital. But when all was said and done some of the best laps of the weekend were put up by riders using part worn rubber !!!!…..it really is a black art. Sam Thompson set the fastest time over the weekend with a 48.07 second lap (almost 90mph) but crash….

Maxxis ACU British Sidecar Cross Championship Preview

Sunday 3rd April will see the start of the seven round British Sidecarcross championship being run at top level tracks as far afield as Cumbria, Kent, Suffolk and Somerset. This year in addition to the MAXXIS sponsorship for the main championship Hadrian Marine will be sponsoring the highly successful Experts championship. This class was trialled last year and proved to be very popular and it is hoped now it is established it will continue to grow.

Classic Entry for Pre-TT Races at Billown

With a week before entries close for the Blackford Financial Services Pre-TT Classic Road Races, 212 entries have so far been received for the seven solo plus two Sidecar races being held on Saturday and Bank Holiday Monday 28th & 30th May, with practice and qualifying on the Friday 27th and Saturday prior to racing.

Camathias Cup Winner Return to Billown to Defend Victory

Bad Weather cuts short the Crewe and South Cheshire meeting at Tonfanau

Despite the expertise and determination of the organising Crewe and South Cheshire club and the courage and determination of the day’s competitors, the opening round of the 2016 Tonfanau championships had to be abandoned. Just eight of the scheduled 21 races were run before a combination of high winds, heavy rain and hail stones forced the activities to come to a halt.

WOODBRIDGE & DMCC GOOD FRIDAY TRIAL REPORT

77 riders mounted on Pre-70 and Twin-shock bikes started the now traditional 2 + 2 lap format trial set out around the Woodbridge & D MCC Moto-X track at Blaxhall. Two laps of 12 sections, laid out on gravel and wooded banks were to be attempted prior to a lunch interval during which the sections were reversed, two more laps were then to be ridden. Unbroken sunshine and a light wind after a fair bit of overnight rain gave rise to perfect riding conditions, and sections with plenty of grip fo….

Maxxis ACU British Sidecar Cross Championships Round 2 now heads to Foxhill

Nora MX are pleased to announce that Round 2 of the Maxxis ACU British Sidecar Cross Championship will now be taking place at one of the most iconic tracks in Britian, Foxhill on Sunday 17th April. Due to an availability issue with the original venue of Culham in Oxford, Nora MX had to move quickly find a suitable change of venue. The event will also feature the third round of the Nora-MX Championship.
