After the Maxxis ACU British Motocross Championship & Round 2 of the ACU Eastern Championship held at Cadders Hill, Lyng in March & May, there has been a lengthy wait for the next meeting but preparations are almost completed for the next event at Lyng which is now only a few days away. Sunday 28th August will see the Norwich Vikings stage the fifth round of the ACU Eastern Championship

Alba Takes Hat trick at Cusses with Carter Taking the Championship Lead

Last Sunday the Phoenix Tools Premier motocross Championship made its way up to Cusses Gorse in Wiltshire for round 8 in the series which also hosted the penultimate round of the Evo/Super Evo Championship. A lot of rain had fallen late Saturday and through the night which was ideal to put the track nigh on perfect and with water put down midday it was to produce some good racing.

DUNLOP AGAIN PROVES HE’S THE MAN TO BEAT IN SUPERBIKE CLASSIC TT

Michael Dunlop again set the pace in the second qualifying session for the 2016 Classic TT presented by Bennetts, topping the board in the Superbike class.  Ian Lougher also again topped the board in the Lightweight class while Dean Harrison and Michael Rutter posted the best times in the Senior and Junior sessions respectively.

After overnight storms, the best of Great Britain lined up today for the penultimate round of the Maxxis ACU British Motocross Championship, round seven of eight, at Preston Docks where Wilvo Virus Performance KTM’s duo of Shaun Simpson and Adam Sterry dominated their respective classes while Apico Husqvarna’s Alexander Brown was the best of the young guns in the MXY2 category.
