NG Road Racing… Brands Hatch Race Report Tuesday 29 March, 2016 Brands Hatch in March is always a tricky proposition, tarmac that has had little use and that is notoriously lacking in grip when the temperatures are low. So with the thermometers struggling to get above 5 degrees correct tyre choices were vital. But when all was said and done some of the best laps of the weekend were put up by riders using part worn rubber !!!!…..it really is a black art. Maxxis ACU British Sidecar Cross Championship Preview Tuesday 29 March, 2016 Sunday 3rd April will see the start of the seven round British Sidecarcross championship being run at top level tracks as far afield as Cumbria, Kent, Suffolk and Somerset. Camathias Cup Winner Return to Billown to Defend Victory Wednesday 30 March, 2016 Sidecar Race Winner Eddy Wright returns to the Blackford’s Pre-TT Classic Road Races to defend his Camathias Cup title he secured last year, however once again he will be up against 2014 winner, Manxman Wally Saunders, who like the veteran Yorkshireman wants to be first to receive the chequered flag in this prestigious classic sidecar race. Wednesday 30 March, 2016 SMCC Isle of Man Centre Enduro Round 2 (Western Enduro) took place on Easter Monday 28th March. In place of the usual charity event at Ronague the club has shuffled the calendar and ran a traditional timecard event instead. Bad Weather cuts short the Crewe and South Cheshire meeting at Tonfanau Wednesday 30 March, 2016 Despite the expertise and determination of the organising Crewe and South Cheshire club and the courage and determination of the day’s competitors, the opening round of the 2016 Tonfanau championships had to be abandoned. Just eight of the scheduled 21 races were run before a combination of high winds, heavy rain and hail stones forced the activities to come to a halt. WOODBRIDGE & DMCC GOOD FRIDAY TRIAL REPORT Wednesday 30 March, 2016 77 riders mounted on Pre-70 and Twin-shock bikes started the now traditional 2 + 2 lap format trial set out around the Woodbridge & D MCC Moto-X track at Blaxhall. Two laps of 12 sections, laid out on gravel and wooded banks were to be attempted prior to a lunch interval during which the sections were reversed, two more laps were then to be ridden. Maxxis ACU British Sidecar Cross Championships Round 2 now heads to Foxhill Friday 01 April, 2016 Nora MX are pleased to announce that Round 2 of the Maxxis ACU British Sidecar Cross Championship will now be taking place at one of the most iconic tracks in Britian, Foxhill on Sunday 17th April. Due to an availability issue with the original venue of Culham in Oxford, Nora MX had to move quickly find a suitable change of venue.
